January 2026

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the whole committee of Burnturk and Kettlehill Community Trust, we'd like to send our best wishes to you for a wonderful festive season, and a very happy new year.

Here's a quick reminder of what is coming up at the Hall in 2026.

Firstly, on Saturday 3rd January, at 10.30am, there will be a winter wildlife walk, exploring our beautiful and interesting local area. The walk will be followed by light refreshments in the Hall, cost is £4 per adult and children go free.

Then, on Thursday 8th January (note it is not our usual first Thursday) we have coffee and chat from 10.30am to 11.30am - a chance to catch up with neighbours and enjoy a hot drink and home baking.

I will send out reminders of other events nearer the time, but I attach below a copy of our winter programme in case you haven't seen it yet.

And finally, just in case you are looking for a last minute stocking filler, or something to take to a friend for hogmany or the new year, we still have a few of our local calendars left, cost £7.50 each or 3 for £20. Available from Alison (01337 830366, leave a message) or by replying to this email.

Yours sincerely,

Aileen (Chairperson) and Alison (Secretary)
